With over 11 years of industry experience, George Papazian is an established new media professional, and a seasoned college and university instructor. George teaches New Media courses at Emily Carr University for the Design Essentials program, a joint endevour with the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In addition, he also teaches courses in interactive media and web project management at the Art Institute of Vancouver, and delivers online courses for web technologies at various other institutions.
On the development side, he is the senior project manager at the Institute of Advanced Media, frequently leading and managing simultaneous $10,000+ projects.
Whether he is developing the brand of a company's online presence, managing a development team or project, or directing students with their own projects on any of the above skills, he has been involved in the production of over a hundred web projects in the past 3 years alone. Some of these include projects from companies such as The Westin Grand, The National Center for Shaken Baby Syndrome, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, The Art Institutes™ as well as other related projects and organizations.
