

George Papazian is a New Media Creative and a specialist in the interplay of business, technology, and the arts. As an educator, he has either taught, developed curriculum, or played a role in developing the Digital Media programs of some of Canada’s top new media institutions at colleges and universities including Emily Carr University of Art and Design, the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and the Art Institute. George's students have gone on to win design awards, and work for companies such as Yahoo!, Electronic Arts (FIFA Project), Zynga, and Blast Radius.
On the business and development side, he is the Creative Lead and Project Lead of OptoMedia & Web Technologies, a Vancouver based online digital agency, where he leads a compact, talented team in simultaneous web projects and online campaigns.Whether he is developing the brand of a company's online presence, managing a development team or project, or directing students with their own projects on any of the above skills, he has been involved in the production of hundreds of web projects over the years. Some of these include projects from companies such as The Westin Grand, the University of British Columbia, The National Center for Shaken Baby Syndrome, Simon Fraser University, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, The Art Institutes™ as well as other related projects and organizations.
